1:1 Leadership Coaching for Women Leading Change

Think clearly. Influence effectively.
Lead with confidence under pressure.

For women in demanding leadership roles who need to deliver results without overwhelm, second-guessing or losing clarity and momentum.

What we can work on together

1:1 coaching with me focuses on the real challenges you’re facing in your role.

You bring the issues, and I’ll help you build confidence, strengthen your decision-making, and make real progress where it counts.

Sessions are available online across the UK or in person in Bristol.

1. Thinking clearly under pressure

When everything feels urgent, I can help you cut through overwhelm, steady your thinking, and make decisions more calmly and effectively.

2. Handling difficult stakeholders

We can focus on how to secure buy-in, navigate pushback more effectively, and approach difficult conversations with greater calm and authority.

3. Leading with more confidence and authority

I can help you trust your judgement, communicate more clearly, and speak up with greater presence in your role.

4. Turning ideas into practical progress

Together, we can shape a plan that holds up in the real world, respond flexibly to what emerges, and make meaningful progress without burning yourself out.

How the coaching works

I usually work with clients in two focused phases, each made up of three 60-minute sessions spaced two to four weeks apart. This gives us enough time to build momentum and create real progress, while keeping the work manageable alongside a busy role.

Block One: Focus and stabilisation

In the first phase, we focus on helping you get out of reactive mode, steady your thinking, and build early momentum and confidence.

For example, this might include clarifying priorities, making sense of stakeholder dynamics, rebuilding trust in your judgement, and taking action on the changes most likely to create early, meaningful gains.

Block Two: Application and capability

From this stronger, more assured base, we focus on helping you stretch yourself further in the areas that will make the biggest difference.

This might include strengthening your leadership presence, handling challenge more effectively, building more influential relationships, communicating with more authority, and taking bolder action while staying true to your values.

Common questions

1. Is this leadership coaching or therapy?

This is leadership coaching.

While my background includes clinical hypnotherapy, this work is focused on helping you think clearly, lead effectively, and make progress in your role. If either of us feels something more therapeutic would be helpful, we can talk that through and agree the best way forward for you.

2. What if I’m already feeling overwhelmed or close to burnout?

That’s often exactly when coaching is most helpful.

We start by steadying your thinking and helping you get out of reactive mode, before building from there. The pace is designed to support you, not add more pressure.
I have deep experience in this area, so if I believe a more therapeutic approach would be more helpful, I will raise that with you and we can agree the right next steps for you.

3. Do I have to commit to both blocks?

No. Many clients start with one block and take it from there.

You’re welcome to continue if it feels useful and the timing is right.

4. How do sessions fit around a busy role?

Sessions are usually spaced two to four weeks apart, diaries allowing.

This gives you time to apply what we discuss without adding unnecessary pressure, while still maintaining momentum. If helpful, we can also split a one-hour session into two half-hour sessions. We’ll work out a rhythm that supports you and your role.

5. What kinds of challenges can we work on?

Anything that is affecting your ability to lead effectively in your role.

This often includes confidence under pressure, stakeholder challenges, decision-making, communication, and navigating change. It might also include preparing for a critical presentation or event, how you show up in senior meetings, or how to handle a particularly tricky member of your team. The value of coaching is that it is based on the real challenges you are facing now, not hypothetical scenarios.

6. What happens in the Leadership Game Plan Call?

It’s a focused, no-obligation conversation.

It’s a great opportunity to meet online and talk through what’s going on in your role at the moment, what you most want to achieve through coaching, and what may be getting in the way. It will also give you a feel for how I work and whether we’re likely to work well together. You’ll leave with more clarity about your current situation, regardless of what you decide.

7. Do you only work with women?

This coaching is designed with women leading change in mind. That said, if you feel this approach would be helpful for you, you’re very welcome to get in touch or book a call to explore whether coaching together would be the right fit. I strive to create a safe and affirming environment for everyone.
